The Metamorph honours the transformative nature of clay – its initial openness to suggestion to its final decisiveness, a build-up of energy made physical and immortalised.

The Metamorph appears to be frozen in motion, shapes captured in the physical world.  There is a gentle flux, making the sculpture appear solid and commanding.
